 As specialist polyethylene fabricators, Global Contract Services Pty Ltd has performed contracts with major industrial, marine and mining concerns in Tasmania, interstate and overseas, since the company began in 1990. Our corporate headquarters are in Sorell, from where we operate a fully facilitated workshop to compliment our on-site contract works. A branch in Launceston is also maintained to allow us to service all areas of Tasmania.
The company currently undertakes contracts virtually anywhere around Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Global enjoys a major share of the market for polyethylene fabrication in Tasmania and carries a strong reputation for reliability, service and innovation.
Global are major suppliers of Aquaculture Sea Cages in Australia and overseas. We operate as a fully facilitated mobile unit, and as such are able to work in the remotest of areas. Our sea cages represent the highest quality equipment for sea cage farming, and are proven to withstand extreme sea and weather conditions.
Construction of polyethylene pipe lines and pipe systems, including outfall and intake submarine lines, general polyethylene fabrication works and manufacture of polyethylene products using the rotational moulding method are a few of the services we provide.
Over the years we have constructed tailings and slurry pipelines, and Mill installations involving polyethylene pipe and fittings for companies such as Copper Mines of Tasmania, Pasminco Hobart Smelter, and Pasminco Rosebury, Henty Gold Mine and Henry Walker Contracting.
The industrial sector is also serviced through Global's Industrial Coatings division. Global has committed itself to providing a wide range of superior products and services for repairs, protection of industrial equipment, surfaces and pumps.
As a result, we employ a diverse range of tradesmen including fitters, steel fabricators, plumbers and welders to provide the necessary capabilities to support all types of industrial works. We are well experienced in both factory based and on-site projects, and are able to carry projects through from the planning stage to completion & commissioning.
